Description of Service
Constructus is a construction cost estimation platform designed for architects and building professionals. The service provides tools for generating cost estimates based on building parameters, material selections, and assemblies drawn from published cost data sources. Estimates are intended as planning tools and should not be relied upon as final construction bids or guaranteed prices.
User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the information you provide when creating an account. You must keep your login credentials secure and are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@constructus.io if you believe your account has been compromised.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use Constructus only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You may not: attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the platform; redistribute, resell, or sublicense the underlying cost data; use automated tools to scrape or bulk-download data; or interfere with the security or operation of the service.
Intellectual Property
The Constructus platform, including its software, design, cost databases, and documentation, is the intellectual property of Constructus and its licensors. You retain full ownership of your project data, estimates, and any content you create using the platform. By using the service, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely to provide the service to you.
Limitation of Liability
Cost estimates generated by Constructus are based on published industry data and algorithmic calculations. They are approximations intended for planning purposes and are not guarantees of actual construction costs. Constructus shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from reliance on estimates produced by the platform. Actual construction costs may vary based on location, market conditions, contractor pricing, and other factors beyond our control.
Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. You may delete your account through your account settings or by contacting us. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately, though we will make your project data available for export for a reasonable period upon request.
